Grassroots Pride Fund

Applications are now open for the Grassroots Pride Fund and Equality and Inclusion Grants for 2025–2026.

The Grassroots Pride Fund has helped for the last three years to put on Pride events the length and breadth of Wales to engage and support LGBTQ+ people and broader communities. This funding has previously been administered by the Welsh Government directly, fulfilling a commitment in their Programme for Government.

In order to improve the delivery of the fund and make it more responsive to the needs of Prides, the Welsh Government have acted on feedback and this year asked Pride Cymru to administer the fund on their behalf.

Up to £38,250 is available for distribution. New events can apply for up-to £1500 and existing Prides can apply for up-to £5000 maximum. Last year existing events received between £1000 and £3500.
