The Network Rail Community Tree Planting Fund grants of £2,500 and £10,000 supports tree and hedgerow planting, care and maintenance of newly planted sites, and educational activities. Projects must be located close to Network Rail network lines or stations. Local authorities, community organisations, charities and NGO’s, education institutions & land owners can apply. The Toy Trust grant programme supports small UK based children's charities - working to benefit of children in the UK with grants of up to £5000 to help disadvantaged children and their families. Priorities: Alleviate suffering; Support children through awful experiences; Encourage achievement through adversity; Purchase vital equipment; Provide care; Bolster existing initiatives; Initiate brand new projects; Satisfy basic needs. Pen Y Cymoed Community Wind Farm Fund. Micro Fund grants of up to £6,500 are available for voluntary and community groups, social enterprises, town and community councils, and school PTAs. These micro grants can fund community events, support start-ups, promote services, or contribute to feasibility studies for larger plans. Deadline 1st August Vision Fund grants over £6,500 for projects aligned with the Fund Prospectus priorities. Open to new and growing businesses, as well as community and voluntary groups, the application process varies depending on the amount requested.  The MACC Hub Flexible Fund will support 10 place-based, transformational climate adaptation projects with up to £55,000 to enable practical actions that address local climate vulnerabilities, promote equity and justice, and foster collaboration between academic and non-academic partners. Projects must be community-engaged, demonstrate measurable outcomes, and align with adaptation policy needs. Lead applicants must be from a UK institution eligible for UKRI funding. Co-leads and partners can include community groups, local authorities, NGO’s, health and care organisations, businesses and public bodies. Deadline for EOI’s 8th August.  GSK Community Health programme runs alongside the IMPACT Awards and supports small charities at least a year old with £20,000 - £150,000 in income tackling health inequalities in their communities Up to 10 charities will receive up to £10,000 plus access to training and development valued at £5,000.  New £1m Circular Electricals Fund supports innovative UK projects that tackle e-waste and promote a more circular approach to electrical products with grants of up to £150,000. Projects should be practical and scalable, improve product design, boost resource efficiency, develop new business models like reuse and repair schemes and reduce the environmental impact of electricals.  The Vale of Glamorgan Third Sector Capital Fund supports projects that enable independent living in the community for people with care and support needs, and to provide intermediate care settings in the community so that people who need care, support and rehabilitation can return to living independently or maintain independence.  GSK IMPACT Awards for charities doing excellent work to improve people’s health and wellbeing who are at least three years old with £150,000 - £3 million income. 15 awards ranging from £4,000 to £50,000, training and development worth £13,500 and help with press and PR.  Together for Change Rural Wales LPIP Community-led Research Programme Up to six rural communities in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Conwy, Denbighshire, Gwynedd, Isle of Anglesey, Monmouthshire, Pembrokeshire, Powys and Vale of Glamorgan to get £20,000 to explore what matters locally that can lead to positive change. Successful communities will also receive training, support and opportunities to connect around one or more of four themes: Building a Regenerative Economy; Supporting the Net Zero Transition; Empowering Communities for Cultural Recovery and Enhancing Wellbeing in Place.  Kelly Family Charitable Trust: provides core funding and project-based grants with capital and revenue funding, preferably to charities whose income is below £500,000, who support families dealing with social problems.  Deaf and Disabled people's organisations fund supports small and local charities and CICs with £25,000 - £500,000 income led by and working with Deaf and Disabled people experiencing poverty to support them to have more choice and control over their lives, access their rights and entitlements, and challenge the barriers they face with up to three year unrestricted grants of £75,000.
