GSK IMPACT Awards for charities doing excellent work to improve people’s health and wellbeing who are at least three years old with £150,000 - £3 million income. 15 awards ranging from £4,000 to £50,000, training and development worth £13,500 and help with press and PR. Henry Smith Shout! Fund is focused on services that provide independent, person-led, non-statutory advocacy. You much be a registered, not-for-profit organisation with a charitable purpose. The Hilden Charitable Fund supports smaller UK-based charities delivering projects within the UK to support social justice and to tackle disadvantage with unrestricted, core or project funding. This year projects must support either Asylum Seekers and Refugees or those who help prisoners, especially women, maintain family bonds and resettle. Together for Change Rural Wales LPIP Community-led Research Programme Vale of Glamorgan is one of six rural communities eligible for funding of up to £20,000 to explore what matters locally that can lead to positive change. Successful communities will also receive training, support and opportunities to connect around one or more four themes: Building a Regenerative Economy; Supporting the Net Zero Transition; Empowering Communities for Cultural Recovery and Enhancing Wellbeing in Place. Amazon Regional Creatives Fund Up to £30,000 to charities, £100,000 for consortiums (plus pro bono support) that develop creative industry career pathways supporting individuals to break into publishing, music, gaming, film, TV, fashion, advertising, and other creative sectors where diversity and fresh perspectives can drive innovation and change. Applicants must currently be running programmes that focus on upskilling people from underserved communities. The 7 Stars Foundation Grants of up to £2,500 are available for smaller UK registered charities working with children and young people aged 18 and under in the areas of abuse, addiction, caring for sick and disabled adults, and homelessness. Kelly Family Charitable Trust: provides core funding and project-based grants with capital and revenue funding, preferably to charities whose income is below £500,000, who support families dealing with social problems. Deaf and Disabled people's organisations fund supports small and local charities led by and working with Deaf and Disabled people experiencing poverty to have more choice and control over their lives, access their rights and entitlements, and challenge the barriers they face with up to three-year unrestricted grants of £75,000. The Vale of Glamorgan Warm Spaces and Improving Access to Food grants: The Improving Access to Food grant provides up to £2,500 revenue and up to £5,000 capital to help communities tackle food insecurity by supporting projects that improve access to healthy, nutritious food. The Warm spaces grants supports organisations with up to £2,000 to provide warm and welcoming spaces in the community. Deadline 5th September. The Ulverscroft Foundation supports projects that help visually impaired people. Within any group of people there will be an element of visual impairment; grants can only be considered if the VI element is significant. The Matthew Good Foundation Grants for Good Fund supports small charities, not-for profit groups and social entrepreneurs with an income of less than £50,000 passionate about making a difference to people, their community, or the environment. £15,000 is shared between five shortlisted projects every three months with grants of £5,000, £3,500, £2,500 and £2,000. The Thomas Wall Trust grants of up to £5,000 for registered charities that support disadvantaged adults in developing vital communication skills to improve their employment prospects with at least one accredited vocational qualification and based on a proven model, ideally delivered in partnership with local organisations. The Fidelio Charitable Trust provides revenue grants of up to £5,000 to organisations and individuals over the age of 21 of exceptional ability across the United Kingdom who would not otherwise be able to carry out an artistic project or activities without additional financial support. Principality Building Society’s Future Generations Fund supports community organisations across Wales to help / encourage more young people getting access to healthy food and other essential items including clothes, stationery and technology, building financial resilience, preparing for the future and world of work, live sustainably and being involved in protecting our natural environment. Volunteering Wales Main Grant Scheme offers funding of up to up to £30k per annum for up to two years. The fund aims to increase volunteer engagement and satisfaction by removing barriers to volunteering for people of all ages and from all parts of society, support the creation and development of high quality and positive volunteering opportunities in Wales and promote changes in beneficiary organisations to embed volunteering into their working practices and culture. The Tree Council Branching Out Fund: schools, community groups, parish and town councils, and tree warden networks can apply for grants of between £250 and £2,500 to engage communities and young people aged up to 21 in planting and caring for trees, hedges, and orchards. The funding can cover the cost of trees, hedges, and orchards; reasonable costs of non-plastic protection and supports, as well as peat-free compost and/or soil improvers.
