Enable Your Team to Better Support Your Community – Free Financial Awareness Training
Every day, your staff and volunteers make a difference in the lives of the people you serve—whether through advice, practical help, or just by being a listening ear. In these challenging times, being able to confidently support and signpost community members who may be struggling with financial, care, or family issues is more important than ever.
That’s where Dangos can help.
Strengthen Your First Response — Make Each Contact Count
Dangos offers FREE, interactive online training specifically designed for people working or volunteering in third-sector and community organisations throughout Wales.
Our aim is simple: we want to equip you and your teams with practical knowledge of what money-related support is available, and how to connect people to it—without turning you into an adviser.
These sessions are accessible, welcoming, and designed for busy frontline staff, caseworkers, befriending volunteers, advice workers, administrative staff, and anyone who interacts directly with people in your local community.
Dangos is funded by Welsh Government.
Why This Matters for Your Organisation:
• Increase Your Impact: Frontline workers are often the first to see when someone needs help. Awareness of current money-related support schemes can help you catch issues earlier and offer the right signposts.
• Boost Your Confidence: Up-to-date resources help staff and volunteers have those vital conversations with people seeking help—especially with so many changes to services and entitlements.
• Reduce Pressure on Your Team: Efficient signposting eases the burden on your organisation, preventing crises and reducing repeat requests for help.
• Show Funders Your Commitment: Investing in staff and volunteer development meets good practice standards and supports your organisation’s reputation.

With living costs rising and many people unaware of the help they can get, your organisation’s role as a trusted source of support has never been more crucial. Just a little more awareness among your staff and volunteers can transform someone’s journey—whether it’s a family facing hardship or an isolated older person.
Let’s give everyone the tools they need to make each contact truly count.
