Does your charity / community group need more coverage? Learn Twitter 1-2-1 with GVS

Some charities have yet to utilise the benefits of Twitter.  Now is the time to raise your profile through social media by interacting with key funders, linking with key partners, following the work of other experts in your field and communicating with service users who are already using Twitter.

GVS is offering a 1-2-1 Introductory Twitter session to equip you with the confidence to use Twitter immediately. The session will be conducted through Zoom with an opportunity to be hands on with Twitter.

Costs - GVS Members £45, GVS Associate Members / Statutory Sector £60, Non-members £80.  The practical session is three hours with breaks and available on a date and time of your choosing!

During the session you will be able to:

•        set up a Twitter account

•        send, reply to and delete a tweet

•        use handles and hashtags effectively

•        engage in a Twitter conversation

•        recognise Twitter etiquette and good practice

•        gain knowledge of scheduling tweets

A laptop, PC or iMac would be the best way to benefit from this session to utilise Twitter’s features. If you would like to book this 1-2-1 session or find out more, please contact Mark Stillman at Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS), e-mail: mark@gvs.wales
