Partnership Opportunity – Supporting Llamau with Signage Renewal
Llamau in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, provide vital support to vulnerable young people and women experiencing homelessness, including those fleeing domestic abuse and violence.
This year marks Llamau’s 40th anniversary, highlighting four decades of dedicated work supporting people across Wales to overcome homelessness and build independent, positive futures.
In the Vale of Glamorgan, we work closely with young people who may be facing crisis situations such as family breakdown, housing instability, or exploitation. Our services provide not only safe accommodation, but also practical life skills, emotional support, guidance into education, training and employment, and the consistent relationships needed to help them rebuild confidence and independence. For many, Llamau represents a turning point where they can begin to feel safe, stable, and hopeful again.
We are currently looking to replace our existing external office sign, which has become damaged and is now presenting both visual and health & safety concerns. As a service accessed by people in difficult and often urgent circumstances, it is important that our building is clearly identifiable, safe, and welcoming.
We have already secured a new replacement sign; however, we are seeking support with the installation and any associated materials needed to safely mount it outside our offices.
As a registered charity, our resources are focused on delivering frontline support to those who need it most. We are therefore hoping a local business may be willing to sponsor the installation free of charge as part of your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment and support for the local community.
In return, we would be very happy to:
• Acknowledge your support through our social media channels
• Highlight your contribution within our local network and stakeholders
• Recognise your organisation as a valued community partner supporting essential services in the Vale of Glamorgan
Your support would not only help us improve the safety and appearance of our building but would also contribute to creating a secure and welcoming environment for the young people and women who rely on our services every day.
If this is something you or your team could support, I would be delighted to discuss further and provide any additional details needed.
