Community Grants nearing deadlines
The Strong Communities Grant Fund offers grants to community groups, voluntary organisations and Town and Community Councils up to £15,000 to improve the resilience of organisations/groups or their activities in the Vale of Glamorgan by funding projects that add value to their current work, demonstrate longer term sustainability and reduce reliance on grant funding. Lloyds Bank Foundation Local collaborations programme supports collaborations led by small charities seeking to influence and achieve local or regional change around improving the social security system, improving access to suitable accommodation, and support for asylum seekers and refugees. Collaborations can apply for grants of £100,000 over two years. Green Hall Foundation provide grant funding of £1,000 - £10,000 to UK registered charities with an annual income of £250,000 or less. Grants should make a tangible difference to the organisation, assist in funding special projects or specific items of equipment, and be for projects that will benefit a significant number of beneficiaries. The Leathersellers’ main ACE grant provides unrestricted grants of £20,000 £25,000 per annum, for up to four years, to charities and CIOs throughout the UK. Cardiff & Vale Action for Mental Health Fund: up to £400 to support new and existing mental health well-being groups in Cardiff & the Vale of Glamorgan that are run by people who have experienced mental health issues. . Ogi community fund ‘Cefnogi’ offers micro-grants to support just about anything that gets people off their screens to a range of local groups and community organisations in our full fibre towns and villages. Democratic engagement grant support local authorities, third-sector, and not-for profit organisations to engage under-represented groups in democracy, including young people, disabled people, non-UK nationals, and people from minority-ethnic backgrounds.
