Coalfields Support Grant (Wales)

The Coalfields Support Grant can fund professional fees and surveys to help organisations responsible for community buildings plan for the future.

Objective of fund:

The aim of this fund is to help community groups and organisations to understand the current condition of their community asset, identifying priorities, and build a strong case for future funding improvements. 

Eligible Surveys include (but are not limited to): Building Conditions Survey with 5 Year Maintenance Plan, Asbestos Survey, Energy Efficiency Survey, Damp or Structural Survey.

Applicants can be outside an eligible coalfields area if the applicant can demonstrate that the project will benefit people from coalfield areas in Wales. A list of eligible areas can be found at: www.coalfields-regen.org.uk/about

Who can apply

Community and voluntary organisations in eligible coalfield areas.
