Citizens Advice Cardiff and Vale Launches Two New Dedicated Support Services for Armed Forces Communities
We have launched two new services at Citizens Advice Cardiff and Vale, specifically for Veterans, Armed Forces serving personnel, and their families. I thought it would be useful to let you know about them.
We deliver the Military Moves Made Easy project to support local Armed Forces serving personnel and their families across Cardiff and the Vale during relocation. This service offers face to face and remote information, advice, and support on welfare benefits, housing, debt, family and relationships, employment rights, and general social welfare matters for those relocating into the Cardiff & Vale area. The public can email us at militarymoves@cacv.org.uk for more details.

We also deliver The Armed Forces Family Advice Service Wales, which provides a dedicated, preventative and holistic remote advice service to veterans and their families across the whole of Wales. The holistic advice service supports service men and women, ex-service personnel, and their families by providing practical, comprehensive, and tailored advice on benefits, debt, welfare, and housing, helping them access the right support and information to move forward. This project has a dedicated helpline, 0808 5310313, which is open Monday to Friday 8am until 7pm and Saturdays 9am to 1pm.
