Celebrating Dedication: GVS Honours Remarkable Long Service Milestones
Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is proud to celebrate an extraordinary group of staff, trustees and volunteers whose long-standing dedication reflects the remarkable environment the charity has worked tirelessly to create. This year’s GVS Long Service Awards honour individuals whose commitment has strengthened GVS, the wider Third Sector and communities across the region.
Among the staff team, GVS congratulates Kris Rees and Paul Warren on 10 years’ service, Ceri Venners on 23 years of dedication and her continued contribution as a volunteer, Janine Richardson on 25 years, and Rachel Connor on an exceptional 28 years of service.
GVS also recognises its outstanding trustees, all of whom have volunteered for over a decade: Sian Davies (10 years), Lynda Wallis (13 years), Conway Hawkins (26 years) and Steve Cox (28 years).
In addition, GVS is delighted to honour several exceptional gardening volunteers, whose presentation was made separately.
These awards highlight not only the loyalty and passion of the recipients but also the supportive culture that GVS has cultivated. As a charity committed to its people, GVS continues to foster an environment where long service thrives and people feel valued, supported and inspired to make a lasting difference.
