Cash4Clubs grant opens today
Cash4Clubs is a small grants scheme for community sports clubs and organisations giving them a chance to apply for grants to improve facilities, purchase new equipment, gain coaching qualifications, or invest in the sustainability of their club.
The 2025 programme is focused on supporting adult participation in sport. Funding is available to groups that support over 18s only. The funding is unrestricted, meaning organisations are able to decide how best to use the grant to support their activities.
Cash4Clubs prioritises groups working in areas of high deprivation and engaging adults from specific under-represented groups. These groups include women, people from racially-diverse communities, people with disabilities and people from the LGBTQ+ community.
Who can apply?
Cash4Clubs is funded by Flutter UK & Ireland, part of Flutter Entertainment, the global sports betting, gaming and entertainment provider. For this reason, groups must only support adult members (18+) to be eligible for funding. You cannot apply if your organisation or club has junior members or runs any junior activities.
They welcome applications from not-for-profit organisations, including charities, community groups and traditional sports clubs and teams. To be eligible for funding, organisations must be clubs with a structured governance and constitution, registered charities, or companies without share capital.
Applicants must demonstrate that they are using sport for social purpose. Examples include: operating in communities facing disadvantage, engaging adults from under-represented groups and tackling issues such as crime and anti-social behaviour.
What can the funding be used for?
The funding is unrestricted – we want you to tell us what you need it for!
It can be used for anything that will support your organisation to continue and/or grow your sports activities for adults. Typical examples of costs might include a contribution towards:
