Apply for the Anti-Racist Wales Culture Fund 2025 to 2026

Grant funding to help local sector culture organisations in Wales deliver anti-racist outcomes.

Revenue funding of between £10,000 and £20,000 is available between mid July 2025 to mid March 2026. Funding up to £25,000 will be considered for exceptional and compelling applications. 

The grant helps eligible organisations support the delivery of culture goals and actions in the Anti-racist Wales action plan. Examples include:

  • anti-racism training/mentoring programme for leadership and board members

  • initiatives to diversify board membership

  • development of toolkit and training to improve recruitment practice to support applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people

  • support co-designed programmes between national bodies and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic led organisations

  • establish a regional capacity-building hub to support access to funding and organisational growth of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic-led organisations

  • use and management of existing collections and/or new artefacts and archives to improve access, understanding or break down barriers for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people

  • research

  • engagement and outreach with Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people in reviewing processes and systems as well as development of new programmes of work

To apply for funding, you should:

  • be a local sector organisation based in Wales/be working with relevant organisations based in Wales, or whose activity is in Wales

  • be active in the culture, arts, museums, archives, libraries or heritage sectors/have experience of either engagement or delivery in these sectors

  • be able to complete your project before by 20 March 2026 and claim by 25 March 2026

The closing date for applications is 5pm on 18 June 2025.
