Age Connects Wales is marking this year’s International Day of Older Persons

‍Age Connects Wales is marking this year’s International Day of Older Persons with a special celebration event at the national Parliament of Wales - shining a spotlight on the theme “What’s on Your Doorstep” and the everyday experiences, contributions and voices of older people across Wales.‍

The event will take place on Wednesday 30 September, from 6pm to 8pm, in the Senedd, and will be sponsored by Lynne Neagle MS, a long‑standing supporter of Age Connects and its work in Torfaen.‍

Bringing together older people, partners, volunteers and supporters, the evening will highlight the work Age Connects is doing across Wales and celebrate the vital role older people play in shaping society.‍ ‍

Age Connects Wales encourages attendees from across its networks to join the celebration and be part of this national recognition.‍ ‍
