Volunteer in our Cafe

We are looking for volunteers aged 18+ to help with a few opportunities within our wellbeing centre.

Café Volunteer: For this role you will:

• sort/freeze new supplies

• take orders and serve

• use the till

• cook (very simple cooking)

• clear up/wash up

• clean the tables at close of day and get everything popped away

Tea/Quiz/Bingo Volunteer Leader - We are running two monthly afternoon activities and would like volunteers aged 18+ to assist.

• Tea & Bingo

The tea is a scone with jam and cream.  We are equipped with a box of quizzes and also have a bingo machine.

We would like volunteers to help to:

• prepare the tea – scones, jam & cream

• prepare the quiz

• assure the prize slips are available to winners

• lead bingo session

• clear away/ wash up after the sessions

A Bingo machine is available, prizes for both activities are small amounts to use in Centre café – these slips will be produced by the Manager.

Time commitment: Negotiable with the organisation. 
Training: Full training will be provided.
Expenses reimbursed: Out of pocket expenses are reimbursed.
Selection procedure: Informal discussion, application form completion, 2 references.
