Support groups for people with communication disability seeking new members and volunteers

Say Aphasia, a communication disability charity, which offers free support groups for people with aphasia and other communication difficulties caused by brain injury are looking for new group members and volunteers.

Aphasia is a common communication disability caused by a brain injury eg stroke or head injury.

It affects speaking, understanding what others are saying,  reading and writing. More than 350,000 people in the UK have aphasia but only 11% of the general public are aware of what it is. This means that many people don’t get the support they need.

Please spread the word! …
