Support for communities and organisations under threat from the far right

Amid rising community tensions, HOPE not hate is offering a range of support to individuals, organisations and communities under threat from the far right.

HOPE not hate is an organisation working nationally to resist division and build resilience in our communities. In the context of rising levels of hate and division across the UK, we offer direct support to communities to protect themselves and push back.

Our offer to communities includes:

·        A monthly newsletter with the latest updates and intelligence about far-right tactics
Ad hoc email updates about far-right mobilisations and the level of risk communities may face as a result

·        Monthly peer support meetings to discuss far-right threats and how we respond

·        A broad range of safety and security resources focusing on things like physical and digital security, completing a risk assessment, building stronger networks in the face of far-right threats and communicating safely amid heightened tensions

·        Bespoke support to individuals, organisations and communities facing threats from the far right, including help planning a response, connecting with others and working with local authorities to get support

·        Bespoke physical and digital security advice, and support getting funding for enhanced security measures as needed

·        In-depth training and workshops on understanding how the far right operates and organising a response
