Senior Independence and Wellbeing Officer (Activities Programme)

Hours: 37 hours a week.

Location: Llandough, Vale of Glamorgan.

Salary: £27,871- £31,506 per annum.

Closing Date: 9am, Wednesday 24th June 2026.

Interview dates: Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th July 2026.

Here at Headway Cardiff and South East Wales we are committed to improving the lives of people affected by Acquired Brain Injury. We are currently looking for a Senior Independence and Wellbeing Officer to over-see our Independence and Wellbeing Centre’s varied programme of activities and take one of the lead roles in co-ordinating and delivering sessions. This includes supporting service user participation and interaction, and assist with care and emotional needs where required.

While we value experience, you might have a background as a care or support worker, a qualification in Health and Social Care or Psychology or experience working within a childcare or education setting, what is most important to us is your current capabilities, coupled with your potential to learn and develop.
