Re-use and recycling of unwanted fixtures and fittings- Former Wilko Store

‍The Vale of Glamorgan Council have fairly recently acquired former Wilko store on Holton Road, Barry and we are developing a project to revitalise the building. The unit was acquired with lots of retail fixtures and fittings within it and we are now in a position to dispose of surplus fixtures and fittings within the unit.

‍We have agreed a process that enables us to re‑use or recycle almost all items. I therefore wanted to highlight this opportunity to your members, should any community organisation wish to request items that could be of use in their work.
