New 'Bwyd Blasus' Restaurant Opens at UHW - serving patients, colleagues and visitors 24/7

The new Bwyd Blasus eatery has officially opened its doors at the University Hospital of Wales (UHW) offering round-the-clock service — 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Situated in the hospital's concourse, Bwyd Blasus (which translates to “Tasty Food” in Welsh) provides a welcoming space for people to relax, recharge, and enjoy a wide range of freshly prepared meals and refreshments.

From hearty hot dishes and grab-and-go snacks to barista-style coffee and plant-based options, the menu is designed to cater to all tastes and dietary needs.

By staying open 24/7, Bwyd Blasus ensures that everyone, regardless of their shift pattern or visiting time, has access to nutritious, affordable food and a comfortable place to take a break.

The restaurant has been thoughtfully designed with inclusivity, sustainability and customer comfort in mind.

Whether you're starting a long shift, visiting a loved one, or spending time as a patient, Bwyd Blasus will be open to serve you day and night.
