Learning Disability Wales is looking for a new Chair of our Board of Trustees

We are looking for someone who is a voice for change, a strategic leader and who has time to commit to working with our board of trustees to help us achieve our mission:

We want Wales to be the best country in the world for people with a learning disability to live, learn, love and work

The Chair will also support our Chief Executive Officer in developing the organisation and ensuring it is well governed.

Initially the term of office is for 3 years and can be extended for a second 3 year term by agreement with the board of trustees. To help you settle into your new role support will be provided by our current chair.

We are committed to achieving an inclusive and diverse board of trustees and encourage applications from people of the global majority and other protected characteristics.

The role is not paid but out of pocket expenses are reimbursed.

For further information and how to apply see our website.
Closing date for applications: 28 March 2024
