Connect, create, and shape heritage in Wales and beyond

Are you a young person (18-30) interested in heritage and looking to get involved in the Heritage Sector in Wales and across the UK? Then join the Heritage Network Youth Forum today!

The Heritage Network Youth Forum is a welcoming and growing space for young people who are passionate about heritage and eager to connect with others across the UK, and we’re keen to grow our community across Wales.

Open to anyone aged 18-30, the forum brings together early career professionals, students and enthusiasts to share ideas, build relationships, and develop their skills. Whether you’re based in a city, town or rural community, it offers a chance to be part of a wider network while still creating something meaningful to you.

The Youth Forum is shaped by its members. You can start or join subgroups based on what matters to you, from our podcast and EDI discussions to climate change and placemaking. As a member you will also have access to our advice library and recordings of past events from CV and LinkedIn optimisation to heritage crafts talks. It’s an opportunity not just to get involved, but to lead, collaborate and create projects that reflect your interests and experiences.

Alongside monthly UK-wide online meetings, we’re keen to grow our presence in Wales through more in-person meetups and locally relevant activity.

If you’re looking to meet new people, gain experience, and play a role in the future of heritage, this is your space to do it.
