Christmas at Fairoaks in Dinas Powys

Dinas Powys Fairoaks resident`s had a fabulous time at the Youldon house Christmas buffet. With a wonderful spread of food complete with  chocolate and strawberry gateaux.

Music was supplied by David “Digger” Gardner who really made the party go with a swing singing old favourites and request`s. A glass of wine was at hand to toast absent friends. Edwina and Gwyneth hosted the whole event and made it memorable with a raffle that had a brilliant selection of prizes.  

Chris and Pat did a sterling job ensuring everyone had a good time. It was nice to be able to hold a Christmas party after the long Covid19 restriction’s had quashed  all meetings of groups for so long. The catering was done by the Pitstop café Dinas Powys Christmas crackers were donated by Asda`s Barry. The party continued into early evening when happy satisfied resident`s went to sleep off the evening. All the resident`s wish to pass on to all the people of GVS a wish of a very happy Christmas and a prosperous 2023.
