Carers Trust Wales, Amser - Short Breaks Funding Programme

Carers Trust Wales is delighted to announce that they will be launching a new national short breaks funding programme called Amser, which aims to increase opportunities for unpaid carers to take a short break from caring.   

Amser will be officially launched and open for applications in January 2023, with the ambition of making awards for the financial year 2023-24 by April 2024. As such, there will be an initial application window from January to February 2023. Organisations will be able to apply for one year or two year funding. 

Amser will be open to third sector organisations. The application packs will be ready by mid January, but since there is a short window for making an initial application, we wished to alert third sector organisations now that this opportunity is on its way.
