A life-changing event that’s happening in Barry

Becoming a volunteer is without doubt a truly rewarding experience. Volunteering can improve your health and well-being — and the positive impact on the people, organisations, and communities you support is worth its weight in gold. Rest assured, your contribution will make a huge difference.

Do you have some spare time to help your community? If so, the Big Volunteering Fayre is the perfect opportunity to connect with passionate organisations that make a real difference locally.

Over 40 local community organisations and charities will be teaming up with Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) to offer volunteering opportunities on Wednesday 28th January, from 10am – 2pm at the Memo Arts Centre in Barry.

This free event provides an informal and friendly space to chat about a wide range of volunteering roles — whether you can give a few hours a week or more. There’s something for everyone, whatever your interests or experience.

Come along to the Big Volunteering Fayre and expect a warm welcome — it could be the start of something truly life-changing!
