The Greenlinks Community Transport Service is a friendly professional community travel service, providing low cost travel to individuals and community groups in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Get some fresh air and Volunteer in our Gardens

We are looking for Volunteer Gardeners age 18+ based at our Hospice in Sully. Volunteers will assist the facilities team with seasonal gardening tasks throughout the year. Volunteers are supervised and led by a member of the team. Some tasks are physically demanding and require a level of manual dexterity.

Volunteer and Support People with alcohol/substance dependencies

This organisation provides a self-help group for recovery from alcohol and substance misuse. During Covid-19, whilst there is no face to face volunteering available, they have adapted their volunteering roles to be on line or by telephone.

Volunteer Gardeners to help with our beautiful large gardens

We are looking for volunteers who have an interest in gardening, gardening skills, listening, good communication, commitment and a supportive and non-judgemental attitude to people who have experienced dependencies to alcohol and drugs. We are based in Llanharan and reimburse travel expenses.

Covid-19 Volunteering Opportunity - Community Reserve Volunteer

By becoming a community reserve volunteer, you will help your community get back on track in the event of a major local emergency. This may be particularly important right now and we are working with the authorities to support the Covid-19 response in the best possible way.
