Top Volunteering Opportunities

We are looking for friendly volunteers aged 18+ with some gardening and growing knowledge to support our new wellbeing and befriending project. The garden aims to be a way of providing befriending services in an outdoor environment. It is not envisaged that volunteers will then visit client’s homes.

The Change Grow Live Achieving Change through Employment (ACE) programme is looking for Digital Champion Volunteers aged 18+ to support staff team in the development and delivery of a digital engagement plan for South East Wales.

Being a gig buddy volunteer aged 18+ involves attending an event with a person who has a learning disability, once a month. You also help them to choose the event and help with practical / transport arrangements.

Under the direction of a caseworker, the volunteer aged 18+ will provide additional support to an allocated client with an aim to overall increase their self-esteem and confidence to access services. This includes providing advice, guidance and feedback whilst sharing the client's experiences acting as a sounding board for their ideas and plans.

To help give children the best possible start in life, Home-Start supports parents as they grow in confidence, strengthen their relationship with their children and widen their links with the local community. Home-Start offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children in the local community.

We have a range of opportunities available for volunteers who might want to help with Covid-19 Volunteering and others to help with general volunteering opportunities.

This opportunity and environment is a fantastic place to socialise and make new friends. You must be aged 18+ and will assist with a variety of things: sorting and freezing new supplies taking orders and serving cooking using the till clearing and washing up cleaning tables/putting everything away

Volunteer Mentors aged 21+ act as positive role models to help young people aged 16-24 who have been within care or are unable to live at home. Mentors will motivate young people to access employment, training and volunteering opportunities, and to engage in social/ online activities.

You will be volunteering in our crafty workshop, assisting the Handcrafted project manager to create high quality items which will be sold on our Handcrafted by Tŷ Hafan Etsy shop and used to help raise vital funds for the children and families in our care.
