Covid-19 Volunteering Opportunity - Community Reserve Volunteer

By becoming a community reserve volunteer, you will help your community get back on track in the event of a major local emergency. This may be particularly important right now and we are working with the authorities to support the Covid-19 response in the best possible way.

Support Covid-19 Volunteering - Remote Support and Doorstep Delivery

We are delighted to launch our Rainbow Volunteers project, funded by the WCVA, which will see us expand our support and reach more families during the course of the pandemic. We are looking to recruit new volunteers aged 18+ onto the project, who will offer families remote emotional support by telephone/ video.

Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern are looking for local volunteers aged 18+ to: deliver essential and emergency supplies to those self-isolating collect and distribute leaflets and newsletters to keep everyone in our community connected collect medicines and deliver

The group has been set up, under the umbrella of The Barry Waterfront Community Residents Association. The aim of the group is to keep residents who live within Barry Waterfront updated, informed and supported throughout the Covid19 Pandemic and to show our appreciation to all organisations and individuals supporting the community at this time; particularly the NHS staff within Cardiff and the Vale, via our Care-Ona NHS boxes.
