Breathe in some fresh air whilst Volunteering in our Gardens

We are looking for a Volunteer Gardeners age 18+ based at our Hospice in Sully.  You will assist the facilities team with seasonal gardening tasks throughout the year. Volunteers are supervised and led by a member of the team. Some tasks are physically demanding and require a level of manual dexterity.

Activities you would be involved in include:

  • Pruning
  • Weeding
  • Planting
  • General garden maintenance
  • Keeping grounds clean, tidy and presentable
  • Using small gardening tools or larger equipment such as a leaf blower
  • Minor external painting

Time commitment: A suggested weekly time commitment is 3 hours.  Available Monday - Sunday, am/pm.  Days and hours are negotiable with the organisation.
Expenses reimbursed: Unfortunately, travel expenses cannot be reimbursed.
Training provided: Full training is provided including health and safety.
Selection procedures: An informal discussion, application form completion, references and a DBS check (cost met by organisation).
