Valeways need a Secretary whose main responsibility would be to prepare the agenda and take minutes at Trustees' meetings. 

An interest in walking would be helpful but not essential as the Trustees manage the whole charity covering issues from maintaining footpaths to producing walk leaflets to funding our activities.  Our Facebook page gives a good idea of our activities.

Time commitment: Meetings take place once a month, typically lasting roughly 2 hours.
Expenses reimbursed: Out of pocket expenses are reimbursed
Training provided: Training is provided. 
Selection procedures: An informal discussion, application form completion and 2 references.
