The Rebuild team have been supporting our volunteers to take the lead in running group sessions. Before March this was in the physical, but since then we have been running online sessions, with the long-term aim, to come back to face-to-face sessions when it is safe to do so.
Time for you Co-Facilitator
Role: We are looking for another volunteer/s to co-facilitate the Time for You sessions with our volunteer Gilli-ann. To guide people in creative ways to express themselves and focus in themselves through art, creative writing, craft, poetry and meditations.
Would Suit: Someone who:
Loves to read and create.
Is passionate about self-development, full of ideas of how to help people learn tools to improve their wellbeing through various creative outlets.
May also be interested in meditation or relaxation techniques.
You should be committed and be keen to develop a group with others, for people that will grow and remain as a constant for the community once Project ReBuild comes to a close in March 2021.
Time Commitment: The sessions are to take place every other Monday 11.00am - 12.30pm. The facilitators will meet 15 minutesbefore, then at least 1 hour would be needed to set aside for planning.
Wellbeing Café Co-Facilitator
Role: Our other session is the Wednesday Wellbeing Café, this is a friendly, relaxed setting. Its aim isto provide a safe space to explore ways to improve and maintain our mental health and wellbeing. We are looking for people to contribute and co-facilitate this fun and engaging couple of hours,
Would suit: Someone who has:
Facilitation skills and an interest in helping improve people’s mental health and wellbeing.
Practical wellbeing skills to share, who is good with people and able to help people open up and feel safe.
