We are looking for suitable volunteers to support this initiative.
Duties include to:
- Attend and support the delivery of community safety initiative and events throughout the South Wales Fire Rescue Service (SWFRS)
- Act as community safety ‘champions’ to assist in the delivery of key safety messages and road safety education amongst our target groups
- Distribute targeted information (literature) to local communities where required
South Wales Fire & Rescue Service is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all volunteers to share this commitment
Time commitment: Hours are flexible and may depend on dates and time of initiatives or events. A suggested minimum of 8 hours per week month.
Expenses reimbursed: Out of pocket expenses are reimbursed.
Training provided: A full induction is provided. Full training is provided with regular feedback and support provided.
Selection procedures: An informal discussion, application form completion and references will be required.
