We need Gig Buddy volunteers now more than ever. Before the pandemic being a Gig Buddy volunteer involved befriending an adult with a learning disability and/or autism and attending events once a month.  While very few events are taking place the need for friendship and social contact is even more important.

Every month we also hold Gig Buddies socials, where we invite all our Gig Buddies to get together for an event called a 'Gig Buddies Social'.  A 'gig' can be anything, from a walk in the park, a live outdoor music performance, a theatre show.  You and your buddy name the gig and you go for it!!  All currently being done on-line.

Time commitment: A suggested time commitment is 1hour per week, with a longer term commitment of at least a year.
Training provided: Full training is provided.
Selection procedures: An informal discussion, application form completion, 2 references, and a disclosure and barring check (cost met by organisation).
