How to organise and run an effective virtual Board Meeting

To support voluntary and community organisations through the COVID-19 crisis Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) has put together guidance on how to organise and run an effective virtual Board meeting for Trustees.

Trustees generally tend to prefer in-person discussions as its been the tried and tested method over the years. Virtual meetings have been a rare occurrence or even non-existent.

However, COVID-19 has pushed the sector into having virtual meetings. In order for Trustees to exercise their governance role effectively, consideration needs to be given to running virtual meetings.
