Investing in Volunteers is the UK quality standard for all organisations which involve volunteers in their work.
The standard enables organisations to comprehensively review their volunteer management and also publicly demonstrate their commitment to volunteering.
Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) manages Investing in Volunteers in Wales. If you are an organisation that is based within Wales and are interested in finding out more about Investing in Volunteers visit www.investinginvolunteers.org.uk and click on ‘Wales’.
There are two options available to you:
You may wish to use Investing in Volunteers as a framework and model for improving your practices, and can download the standards free of charge. You may then at any time choose to be assessed to gain Investing in Volunteers status by proceeding to option 2.
Organisations wishing to achieve accredited status and achieve the Investing in Volunteers award are required to register on line. You will then be allocated an Investing in Volunteers Adviser.
