Help us by becoming a Live Well with Hearing Loss Volunteer

Join our fantastic Live Well team and use your spare time to help people find solutions to enable them to live more happily with their hearing loss. Make new friends, learn about hearing loss and help people in your local area. Choose one of the fabulous roles below:

Information and Advocacy

Help us to inform people with a hearing loss of the types of equipment and devices available and to offer basic advocacy services, to help them get access to these.

Equipment Advisor

This role involves trained volunteers demonstrating a small range of equipment and showing people how to use devices they already have.

Equipment Experts

This role is similar to the Equipment Advisor, but volunteers will have more expertise in a wider range of equipment and how this links with hearing aids.

Volunteers must be aged 18+, can choose to be placed in community hubs, to carry out home visits or both! Full training is provided and expenses are reimbursed.

This role is very time flexible, you can give as little as 1 hour per week.

An informal discussion, references and a disclosure and barring check will be required.
