We’re passionate about encouraging everyone to give nature a home and we’re looking for a sociable and inspiring person aged 18+ to be an advocate for the RSPB in the local community. This will involve giving talks to small community groups and being our representative at similar events. Talks will be themed around wildlife, the work of the RSPB and how groups and individuals can support us.
We get requests for our attendance at talks and interest group events throughout the year. These events can be during the day or in the evening and usually last around 2-3hours, with talks expected to be around 45 minutes on average.
Over the next six months we will have higher requests for talks and/or our presence at events as a result of being Cardiff Lord Mayor’s charity of the year 2017.
Full training is provided and travel expenses are reimbursed.
An informal discussion and references will be required. Ref 552
