Food Wise Volunteers aged 18+ are required to support the Co-ordinator with this new project. You will:
- help to deliver the course content during eight weekly sessions of two hours
- help guide participants through discussions on topics such as How to Eat a Balanced Diet, Planning Healthy Meals, Understanding Food Labels and Benefit of Exercise
- help to carry out a weekly weigh in session and help participants to keep track of their progress in the work book that accompanies the course
The time commitment is a Tuesday morning for 2 hours.
Full training is provided and travel expenses are reimbursed.
