Aspiring child care workers invited to apply for support

Economy Minister Ken Skates and Deputy Minister for Health and Social Services Julie Morgan have today invited those aspiring to work in childcare in Wales to apply for a new Welsh Government funded programme which looks to encourage more people to consider and trial a career in the child care sector.

Carter rings the bell at home time

An End of Treatment Bell has been installed on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the University Hospital of Wales, so that when the smallest, most vulnerable patients have grown and finished their treatment, they ring the bell and move on to the next chapter of their lives.

Exciting times for Y Bont’s Family Funzone project

The Family Funzone project is a new project, adopting a whole-family approach, providing play opportunities for Disabled Children and their Siblings (aged: 4-11 year olds). We will be delivering fun, stimulating, interactive, child-led, indoor and outdoor play sessions during After-School Clubs (Term Time only), Saturdays, Playscheme during Easter and Summer.
