Llantwit Major Youth Centre

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is delighted to be negotiating with the Vale of Glamorgan Council for the Leasehold interest in the building known locally as the Llantwit Major Youth Centre. GVS is keen to allay any fears that the local community may have about the future of the youth clubs that are run from the building.

National Adoption Week: Children’s Minister encourages more people to consider adopting children

More people across Wales are being encouraged to consider adopting children by the Minister for Children, Huw Irranca-Davies. To mark the start of National Adoption Week (15th – 21st October), the Minister for Children, Huw Irranca-Davies has paid tribute to the many adoptive parents across Wales who have made new families with some of the most vulnerable children in the country, and who are supporting them to fulfill their potential in loving homes

Cardiff and Vale Third Sector ICF Capital Investment Fund 2018 - opens 15th October 2018

This Fund aims to support proposals which improve the quality of life for people in Cardiff and the Vale by ensuring that opportunities are put in place locally to promote health and wellbeing and support engagement and participation in the communities in which they live. The Capital Investment Fund is open for applications from Monday, 15th October 2018 with a deadline for submission of 12pm on Friday, 2nd November 2018.
