Triangle Trust open for applications

The Triangle Trust is now accepting applications from specialist community and voluntary organisations concerned with the rehabilitation of offenders or ex-offenders in the UK. The deadline for Stage1 applications is noon on 23rd October 2018.

Grants available for WW1 Remembrance Day activities

We’re working with the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust on a project to provide small grants for remembrance day installations. The installations would be fully funded and community groups can apply for them to support their Remembrance Day activities for the centenary of World War One. The closing date for applications is 1st October 2018.

Have Your Say Survey

As part of the Welsh Government’s Play Sufficiency duty they expect all Local Authorities to carry out an investigation into the time and space children and young people have for playing or hanging out in their local area. As part of this process, a survey is being rolled out nationally, which we are also undertaking locally to help us to build a picture of what it’s like for children playing in the Vale of Glamorgan (and Wales).

Y Bont successful to create a Family Funzone

Y Bont has been awarded a grant of £530,059 for the Y Bont's 'Family Funzone' The 5 year project will engage with disabled children and their families in Bridgend to reduce the challenges they face, in particular isolation and a lack of social opportunity, encouraging them to develop peer support amongst each other, build relationships and enjoy an active lifestyle through activities that include the whole family.

Consultation open for third sector’s first Digital Code of Practice

Third sector organisations from across the UK have been invited to contribute to the UK's first Charity Digital Code of Practice which is due to launch in November this year. The code will aim to help charities improve their digital skills and increase their take up of digital activity and is being funded by Lloyds Banking Group and the Co-op Foundation. It will be voluntary and free to access, and the steering group is keen to hear from charities of all sizes as part of the consultation.
