Community Chest funding available to local groups

10 organisations were recently successful in securing £12,761 of Community Chest funding to develop new and further expand existing sports opportunities in the Vale. If you are an organisation interested in developing opportunities then the Community Chest funding could help. The next Community Chest panel meeting is taking place on 31st January with a deadline date of 17th January 2019 for completed applications to be submitted.

Vale of Glamorgan Community Chest open for applications

The Community Chest scheme is funded by Sport Wales and managed locally by the Vale Council’s Healthy Living Team. There is £31,000 left in the Community Chest pot for this financial year.If you are an organisation interested in developing sporting or physical activity opportunities then the Community Chest funding could help. The deadline date is 17th January 2019.

Prince’s Trust Countryside Fund

Grants of up to £50,000 will be available from January 2019 to organisations engaging in activity that results in a long-term positive impact on rural communities by helping the people that live and work in the countryside.

Nineveh Charitable Trust
