Leeds Building Society Foundation

The Foundation primarily provides funding towards practical items that directly support those in need including those with disabilities, affected by homelessness, or with serious health issues. Grants of between £250 - £1,000 are available for UK registered charities, or those affiliated with a registered charity.

Weston Charity Awards in Wales - please apply!

A major charitable foundation is urging small charities in Wales not to miss out on the chance to benefit from a year of leadership coaching from a team of business mentors along with £6500 funding. The Garfield Weston Foundation launched the Weston Charity Awards in Wales two years ago and wants more charities to apply this year.

The Worshipful Company of Weavers Benevolent Fund

The Fund's principal aim should be to support people in trouble, particularly young offenders and ex-offenders, and other disadvantaged young people. Preference is given to pump priming new projects, especially those which are innovatory and can serve as a model elsewhere. The next application closing date is 30th November 2019.

Carriers for Causes grants are available for good causes within two miles of a One Stop shop. Grants, of up to £1000 will be available to support projects that ‘benefit local communities - helping to improve lives and local places’.
