Spiro Pezaros is crowned Health Hero for September

A Urology cancer administrator from the University Hospital of Wales, who gives up his own time to lead a running club and train his colleagues has been crowned our latest Health Hero. Spiro Pezaros, 38 from Risca is a Urology cancer administrator at the University Hospital of Wales, is the first point of contact when patients are referred into the service for diagnosis of possible Urology cancer.

Grants available for WW1 Remembrance Day activities

We’re working with the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust on a project to provide small grants for remembrance day installations. The installations would be fully funded and community groups can apply for them to support their Remembrance Day activities for the centenary of World War One. The closing date for applications is 1st October 2018.
